Two Interns - Jordan Skole and Bethany Lumbert - from Michigan State University (MSU) spent 6 weeks with DSC and worked extensively with two community based organizations in the Volta Region. We are grateful for the value they added to these two CBOs, particularly, helping them think outside the box for solutions to specific challenges.
One of our SMEs just took delivery of a Pepper packaging line that is slated to start production by mid May 2010. DSc want to us this opportunity to congratulate E.K. Agyei of Abesim for the strides he is making.
This March, DSC handed over the Aboadze Community Centre to WAPCo which was commissioned on March 18th 2010. We have taken established a mangaement community and currently helping them to begin to operate the facility. Kudos to the entire Aboadze community for their commitment to the WAPCo project and dedication to maximize the benefits derived from the various projects given them by WAPCo.
